Event Home Page - Show Comparison

The Show Comparison dashboard compares your selected event's sales trajectory over time, and booker behaviour, with that of another event of your choosing.

Access

The Show Comparison dashboard is accessed via the 'Choose a report' dropdown menu next to each event in the event list panel of the Event Home Page dashboard:

Orientation

The  top panel displays summary data of the event at the top right corner, has two buttons at the top left corner allowing you to switch between views on Sales and Behaviour of bookers, and has filters for Behavioural Segment and Sales Channel.

Select a comparison event

When you first open the dashboard, the 'Choose a comparison event' menu is open by default. Select an event to compare using the list displayed or search for an event using the 'Search' and/or the 'Event Year Started' field. By default the list is sorted by Event Start Date ascending.

The 'Select Comparison Event' button opens the overlaid menu if you want to change the comparison event.

Click on the Event Name in the list to select it. The overlaid menu will close and your comparison event will be displayed on the dashboard.

Sales view

The line chart displays the sales trajectory of your chosen event against that of your comparison event.

You have the option of changing the X Axis to display:

  1. weeks after onsale
  2. weeks before performance (default)
  3. weeks before show opens

The Y axis can also be changed to display:

  1. Revenue (default)
  2. Tickets
  3. ATP

Behaviour view

Behaviour View is split into 4 panels:

  1. Segment Comparisons
  2. Priceband comparisons
  3. Ticket Price Comparisons
  4. Sales Channel comparisons

Your selected event and comparison event are displayed on each chart in separate colours, allowing you to easily see the differences between each event.

You can toggle all 4 panels between number of tickets (#Tickets) and percentage of tickets (%Tickets).
