Event Home Page - Demographics
The Demographics dashboard compares the socio-demographic profile of event bookers that live within the specified drive-time of your venue with the general population that lives within the same drive-time.
Access
The Demographics dashboard is accessed via the 'Choose a report' dropdown menu next to each event in the event list panel of the Event Home Page dashboard:
Orientation
We use Output Area Classifications provided by the Office for National Statistics. Details can be found here.
Event information is displayed at the top right of the dashboard. The data table has two filters:
Filter Name | Choices | Default State |
---|---|---|
Classification Level | Group, Sub Group, Super Group | Group |
Drive Time | 30, 45, 60 minutes | 30 minutes |
Using booker post codes, the data table displays the number and percentage of Bookers to the event within each socio-demographic group compared with the population for the same area. A numerical score is derived from this comparison, which results in a score indicator:
- Numerical score >100 - you are attracting more than the average population to this event
- Numerical score <100 - you are attracting less than the average population to this event
