Event Home Page - Geography
The Geography dashboard displays your event sales by Local Authority, UK Region, Countries, and Catchment area.
Access
The Geography dashboard is accessed via the 'Choose a report' dropdown menu next to each event in the event list panel of the Event Home Page dashboard:
Orientation
Summary data of the event is displayed at the top right corner, with buttons to select other geographic options on the left - the Local Authority button is selected by default.
There are filters for Sales Date (from and to) and Behavioural Segment.
In the Segment filter, by holding shift and clicking, you can select multiple segments. You can reset the filter using the button to the right
The geographic options are:
- Local Authority - bookers are broken down by Local Authority area, in descending order, with Tickets, Revenue, total Population for that area, with Population and Ticket penetration figures calculated and displayed.
- Region - as above but by UK Region.
- Countries - as above but by Country. Note there is no population data available here.
- Catchment - Filtered by Drive Time to your venue location (adjustable in the 'Select drive time' option on the map), Revenue is broken down by post code sector in descending order with Bookers, Tickets, % of Revenue and ATP also displayed. Postal sectors within the drive time setting are shaded in dark grey.
Your venue is indicated on the map with a yellow star.
Hovering your cursor over the map and using the scroll wheel or trackpad gesture you can zoom in/out.
The map can take a moment to load when zooming in and out.
Export
This dashboard can be exported easily by right-clicking anywhere on the report, selecting 'Share' from the contextual menu, and following the steps.
You can also create a notification to have this report sent to people in your organisation on a scheduled basis by right-clicking anywhere in the report, selecting 'Notification' from the contextual menu, and following the steps.
