Use tokens to filter data

Create your own filter to group data together within your dashboards buy setting a 'token'.

If you want to filter the dashboard by a specific group of events, dates or locations you can create a static filter or 'token' to save time.

1. In the dashboard you want to filter, go to the filter drop down to add in the criteria you want to include.

2. In the example below a 'token' is being created for location to exclude non core venues that are on the ticketing system. Select the filter options you want to INCLUDE and click the SAVE tick at the bottom of the dropdown.

3. Click the down arrow to the right of the filter box. From the dropdown list, select SAVE SELECTION AS TOKEN

4. This opens a new pop up where you can give the token a name. Once saved, this name will appear in the drop down (as Festival Venues above) so keep it brief.

5. Click the tick to save and you will see this confirmation box

6. Now your token will appear in the drop down when you click on the right down arrow for quick and easy use.

NOTE: To see the OPPOSITE of the token data you can select INVERT SELECTION and this will show everything that is NOT included in the token or manually selected in the drop down field
